

It took Jay Cutler a long time to reach the pinnacle of bodybuilding. Going up against Ronnie Coleman, the Massachusetts native came up short four times before finally winning the title. However, early on in his career, Cutler was known for the iconic ‘quad stomp’ move. Even when Jay didn’t win, the quad stomp always won the crowd over. In fact, it gave prime Ronnie Coleman a run for his money.

In 2018, Jay revealed everything about his quads. Apart from being the easiest to train, Jay made an unbelievable claim about when he started training his legs in the gym.

The four-time Mr. Olympia recalled how he was known for his legs, especially during the early days of his bodybuilding career. Jay said, “People don’t know that but my legs, my legs were my easiest body part to build. And I was known for my legs.”
Cutler also said, “they talked about, you know, the kid with the Crazy Legs,” while recalling what people referred to him as when talking about an up-and-comer from Massachusetts.

Cutler also revealed that after just one year of working out, he already had, “The best legs in the gym… It was just one of those body parts.” The former Mr. Olympia also revealed, “I didn’t actually train my legs from 20 to 23.”
