Arnold Schwarzenegger, aka The Terminator, has played many roles on the screen. One of the most-cherished roles he played off the screen alongside his ex-wife Maria Shriver was that of a father. Schwarzenegger has four children with his ex-wife Maria Shriver.

In an interview, Maria Shriver opened up about her first pregnancy. The American royalty and former NBC anchor talked about the struggles that came with her pregnancy.

Shriver opens up about her pregnancy struggles

Maria Shriver gave birth to her first child Katherine Schwarzenegger in 1989. In the same year, when she was five and a half months pregnant, she was interviewed on the David Letterman Show and talked about her situation.

People assured Shriver that her morning sickness would be over by the end of three months. But she felt sick even after more than five months into the pregnancy. She revealed throwing up three times while she was on air. Maria said, “I throw up five-six times a day. It’s gross, I mean this is uh the proverbial morning sickness.” Shriver claimed to throw up as soon as she woke up, went to work, returned from work, and went to bed.
