Milos Sarcev competed in bodybuilding from the late 80s to the early 2000s. In a career spanning over a decade, Sarcev became a prolific competitor. While he never won Mr. Olympia, the bodybuilding legend won the 1989 Mr. Universe title. After retiring, the Serbian native became a renowned coach. He trained legends like Flex Wheeler and is currently training Samson Dauda. Earlier, The Menace Podcast co-host recalled a dark time in his bodybuilding career and how he “ruined” his physique.

In the latest episode of The Menace Podcast, the bodybuilding legend admitted to using site enhancement oils multiple times in his career. He also admitted how he couldn’t stop after he won a bodybuilding show using the site enhancement oil, synthol.

“The biggest regret” of Milos Sarcev’s life

While talking about site enhancement oils, Milos Sarcev said, “I was guilty of using it (synthol).” The former Mr. Universe also admitted to beating the host of The Menace Podcast, Denis James, in 1999 with the help of synthol. “When you never have arms and now it’s like 22 inches, it’s like, ‘oh this is good.'” said Sarcev. However, greed got the better of Sarcev and kept using it.

Milos Sarcev recalled injecting the peak of his biceps before the Canada Pro Cup. Muscle Magazine International’s Bob Kennedy noticed something was off with Sarcev’s physique. “Milos, you have a beautiful physique, why are you ruining it?” he told the bodybuilder. However, the bodybuilder didn’t heed Kennedy’s word and nearly paid the price with his life.

The legendary bodybuilding coach had nearly died after hitting a vein while injecting synthol. The mistake led to congestive heart failure, and even his respiratory system failed. However, the bodybuilder survived“I made a fool out of myself and then I went into Flex Magazine to talk about it,” the 59-year-old said. He also revealed which body parts he injected. “I did the biceps, triceps and the calves,” the once prolific competitor told his co-hosts.

Another bodybuilding legend warned against the use of synthol

Samir Bannout is a former Mr. Olympia and a bodybuilding legend. The Lion of Lebanon recently warned against the use of synthol during an episode of the Muscle Maturity Podcast Bannout said he suspects many bodybuilders of using site enhancement oils. Bannout said bodybuilders shouldn’t inject synthol, especially sensitive body parts.

The former Mr. Olympia said, “You just cannot inject this s*** into your calves.” Bannout also warned about hitting the nerve ending and permanently damaging the muscle.
