Lou Ferrigno is a retired American bodybuilder and a Hollywood superstar. During his bodybuilding career, the legend has won many awards, including – the IFBB Mr. America title. He has also a two-time IFBB Mr. Universe winner. Besides bodybuilding, Ferrigno is a renowned actor and widely known for his role as the superhero character “Hulk”.

The green and gigantic superhero is an enraged character who, despite his anger issues, saves the world from evil. Once, during an interview, Ferrigno revealed what made him angry in real life.

Ferrigno was the first actor to portray the role of “The Incredible Hulk”, and the bodybuilder had impressed everyone with his work in the TV series.

In 2017, in an interview with Good Morning Britain, the host wanted to know what made Ferrigno in real life. Ferrigno had his reply on top of his mind. The actor said, “What makes me angry, that people who don’t take action for themselves, who procrastinate. They make excuses and they’re lazy, and they’re very lazy when it comes to their own body and health.”

As a bodybuilder, Ferrigno was aware of the benefits of exercising. Hence, he wished every person took care of their physical health. The legendary bodybuilder also shared some simple tips that people could follow to make them more fit and active. “Best thing you can do is embark upon a normal diet, balanced diet, walking exercises likely, and to hold sacred to the word consistency, that’s the secret,” advised Ferrigno.

Even after retirement, the 71-year-old Ferrigno is still one of the fittest and healthiest bodybuilders to date. In another interview, Ferrigno also revealed that his real-life anger issues had helped him to relate to and play the role of The Hulk.

A brief on Lou Ferrigno’s acting career
In 1977, Ferrigno joined the acting industry with the CBS TV series “The Incredible Hulk”. Owing to his phenomenal work in the series, Ferrigno became a known name in the industry.

His work later landed him the protagonist’s role in the 1983 science fantasy adventure film “Hercules”. For his performance, the Decider magazine named Ferrigno the “tenth hottest on-screen Hercules ever”.

Later in his acting career, Ferrigno also made cameo appearances in the “Hulk” and “The Incredible Hulk” movies. He was the voice of Hulk in many Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and continued to lend his voice until the Avengers: Age of Ultron.
