He described in his book how his ex-wife took him for a couple-therapy session. Schwarzenegger also mentions a farewell shot Shriver allegedly took when their marriage ended. She said to him, “The way he admired her and respected her when I think about it today, it actually takes my breath away.” 

Talking about therapy, he wrote, “Maria wanted to come here today and to ask about a child-whether you fathered a child with your housekeeper Mildred.” Then, he replied, “I told the therapist, It’s true.”

In the book, Schwarzenegger claims that in 1996, Shriver and their children were on vacation. Talking about the therapist, he told ETonline, “Because the guy was so full of sh*t. Arnold’s thoughts about his marriage

Arnold and Shriver first met each other during a tennis tournament. Despite having four kids together, the couple announced their separation in 2011.
