“It Literally Was Burning”: Former US Navy SEAL Shares How He Lost 100 Pounds Without Stretch Marks or Loose Skin

David Goggins is widely famous in the fitness community for his insane transformation. Reportedly, he lost over 100 pounds in only 3 months. Goggins wanted to become a member of the US Navy SEAL at an early age, but it was his body weight that made it tough. At 24 years of age, he stood 6’1″, and weighed 300 pounds. To join the Navy, he had to reduce to 191 lbs. Goggins was stubborn enough to go through a crazy workout routine to accomplish what he dreamt of. While his transformation made the bodybuilding fans jump off their chairs, they were also curious about the secret behind his impressively toned body.

Though he lost all the pounds in a short period, interestingly, the ultramarathon runner didn’t have any loose skin. In a recent video, the retired Navy SEAL member shared his secret to transforming his body without getting stretch marks.

In a recently uploaded YouTube video from Incomparent, Goggins was seen talking about his journey and spilling the secret behind his toned body. “There is a secret. I developed a weight routine…So I pick a lightweight and I smoke out. So let’s say it’s bench press. You want to pick something that you can do over 100 times without stop it. If you want to stop, so your rest position is the up position”, shared the retired Navy person. “So you don’t rest it. So you know, like rack it, you don’t rack it, you rest up and you can only rest for 10 seconds. It literally was burning so much muscle. Like my muscle was just getting fatigued”, Goggins explained.

It was this extensive workout regime that helped him get rid of his weight. The public speaker shared how he used to start his day at 4:30 AM and sustained on a banana from breakfast to dinner. Then Goggins would hit the exercise bike for an hour, and this would be followed by 2 hours of swimming sessions. There was more – after this intense swimming time, he would train for three hours more.

His jaw-dropping routine made his fans go nuts, and they flocked to the comment section of the video to share their delight.

Appreciating his new method to achieve a targeted weight, one fan commented, “That’s some grade A bro science.” Indicating his superhuman feats, one wrote, “Anything David Goggins does is way out of my reach. He’s super human!”
