Regardless of what others say or think, the former Governor of California expresses thoughts without shying away. His versatile and long career have made him strong enough not to hesitate to challenge people in authority.

Similarly, Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife Maria Shriver shares the same kind of opinion when it comes to politics. However, having different ideologies and thoughts, Maria once questioned Trump’s legacy.

In 2021, Shriver slammed down Trump’s legacy when his daughter Ivanka Trump tweeted on a sensitive topic. Everything started with Ivanka’s tweet, where she wrote, “No. Peaceful protest is patriotic. Violence is unacceptable and must be condemned in the strongest terms.” The retweets of these comments included lots of positive and negative replies. 

However, the reply of political reporter Maggie Haberman caught the attention. She wrote, “After initially calling these rioters “patriots,” the President’s daughter tries again.” In addition, replying to this retweet, Arnold Schwarzenegger’s ex-wife Maria Shriver, who is also a journalist and an author, penned her thoughts on this comment. 

Shriver scrawled her opinion, “The Trump family is complicit. They are in over their heads. Always have been. They are complicit. No excuse. They own this too. They are not kids. May they know this is their legacy.”

Various Twitter users came in support of Maria’s opinion. In 2018, Shriver vocally called out the zero tolerance for immigration policy after Donald Trump and Ivanka shared the policies.

Previously, the bodybuilder boldly questioned Trump in a Twitter video from 2020 that has since been archived. Even in 2021, Arnold was unhappy with how the Capitol Hill incident turned out. Later, Arnie shared a video in which he expressed his disappointment. The Austrian Oak had his say on Trump. Arnold stated, “President Trump is a failed leader. He will go down in history as the worst President ever.”

Despite belonging to the Republican Party, the two have very distinct philosophies. During his tenure in the governor’s office, he developed several necessary measures for the benefit of the people.
