Mr. Olympia is one of the biggest bodybuilding competitions. Naturally, owing to the massive fan following, keeping a lookout for the contestants’ security is of utmost importance. However, despite the top-tier security, Jesse James West impersonating the 4x Mr. Olympia, Chris Bumstead, managed to get through the gates.

CBum was among the most anticipated bodybuilders at the event. So for someone to breach the security and be able to reach the contestant was a result of the lapse in security or something entirely different? Who was this impostor, after all?

Chris Bumstead was surprised by the impostor

Famous Youtuber Jesse James West managed to pull off one of the funniest pranks on the Olympia grounds. Not only did he fool the 4x Mr. Olympia, but he also managed to rope in the 8x Mr. Olympia, Ronnie Coleman, on his plan.

After posting the full video of the prank on his channel, West shared an Instagram post announcing the same. “Fake @cbum prank went better than expected.” Only after coming across the post and subsequently watching the video did Chris Bumstead realize who he had met the other day.

Surprised, CBum took to the comments area to share his astonishment. He wrote, “Hahah bro I didn’t even realize who you were. This is hilarious, well done👏” Well Bumstead wasn’t the only one who couldn’t recognize West. Judging by the impostor’s perfect get-up and setup, some fans at the venue mistook him for Bumstead. They even went ahead and asked for photos and autographs, which the impostor happily supplied.

Soon after the clip was released, fans shared their hilarious reactions. “I watched Chris’ video and I didn’t even realize it was you 😂,” a fan commented. Another wrote, “Not sure who stole the show, the security guards or 8 x Mr. O.”

Commenting on the ridiculous situation, another fan added, “He wanted to meet a 4 time Mr O so he called up his friend who is an 8 time Mr O to help him 💀” Calling out the prankster, a fourth fan added, “Cbum from Ali express.”
