Chris Pratt, the Hollywood actor, is married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of the former governor of California, Arnold Schwarzenegger. Besides his two daughters with Katherine, Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son-in-law Chris Pratt is extremely close to his 10-year-old son Jack whom Pratt had in 2012 from his previous marriage with Anna Faris. Although the Hollywood actor was excited to become a father for the first time, Jack’s birth was a tough time for him.

Once during a charity event, Pratt opened up about his son’s premature birth and how tense the situation was for him and his ex-wife.

Chris Pratt once recalled the disheartening story of his child’s birth

In 2014, according to US Weekly, the Guardians of the Galaxy star was present at the March of Dimes Celebration of Babies Hollywood Luncheon. The famous actor took this opportunity to share a sorrowful story of his son Jack’s birth. Jack arrived two-and-a-half months early and was also diagnosed with a life-threatening disease.

While sharing the story, he recollected, “He had jaundice, so they put a blindfold on him and he slept beneath creepy light and he had a PICC line, which is an IV that runs up his arm into his heart.” However, Pratt did not lose hope and prayed that he would get to spend more time with his son in the future. Pratt added, “My little boy was laying across my neck and chest feeling my heartbeat and feeling my love, and I played him country music and I sang to him and I made him promises just about what kind of dad I wanted to be, and I just prayed that he’d be here long enough and he was going to let me keep him.”

Luckily Pratt’s prayers got answered, as today, his son Jack is healthy and shares a loving relationship with his father. Although Pratt and Faris’s relationship did not last long, the two agreed on co-parenting their kid. Besides Jack, Pratt has two daughters – Lyla and Eloise, with his now-wife Katherine Schwarzenegger.

In this post, there was a picture of Schwarzenegger holding Lyla while she covered her face on her grandfather’s shoulder. This picture left the fans totally awestruck.

In one of her recent posts, Katherine also disclosed an adorable picture of Schwarzenegger and her newborn baby, Eloise. Here, Arnie was holding the little girl in his arms while kissing the side of her forehead.
