When Kai Greene entered the bodybuilding scene, Phil Heath was the reigning Mr. Olympia champion. Notably, Heath had won the title seven years in a row. Back in 2018, Kai Greene, in an interview, Kai was questioned about Phil Heath’s performance, and here’s what he had to say.
Greene and Heath have always been a point of attraction to the bodybuilding audience, courtesy of the rivalry they share. But despite being rivals, they have no real hate towards each other.

Kai Greene is an American professional bodybuilder. Throughout his career, he has secured the second position in 2012, 2013, and 2014 IFBB Mr. Olympia. Greene never came back to the scene after the 2014 IFBB Mr. Olympia, but he has never officially announced his retirement either.
Kai Greene’s thoughts on his arch-rival Phil Heath
With all the heat aside, during the interview, Kai Greene approached the question about his rivalry with Heath rather cordially. It showed how much he respected his opponent while being a fierce competitor.
“Is he beatable? Was he ever beatable? Yeah,” Greene said and continued, “Was he a damn good competitor and working very hard to see his own dream realized? Absolutely.”

Kai Greene admires Phil Heath for all his hard work. Heath is a seven-time Mr. Olympia winner from the years 2011-2017. Greene, who has never tasted similar glory, respects Heath for all the hard work he has put into achieving all the greatness he has.

“That’s one of the thing that made it you know good,” Greene said. While Greene missed out on that year’s competition, he was confident he would take home the title had he been on stage.
Arch-rivals Kai Greene and Phil Heath’s similarities
Everyone in the bodybuilding community knows that Kai Greene and Phil Heath have a lot of beef going on between them. Even while having indifferences, both of them have the same goal, which is to obtain a title winning body.
Throughout his career, Kai Greene has faced Phil Heath on several occasions and lost to him always. All his attempts to become number one failed against the unbeatable form of Heath.
