Hours before the biggest bodybuilding competition of the year is supposed to start, Bumstead let people in on his “Late night hotel workout” regime. The video was posted on Bumstead’s official YouTube channel.

Chris Bumstead gives a glimpse of his final prep
Since the time Bumstead began his preparations for Mr. Olympia 2022, he has kept his followers in the loop, giving them updates every step of the way. Sharing what he was up to hours before the competition starts, CBum shared a video, walking people through the last-minute prep work for his body. Chris revealed that his day began at ungodly hours, and he has been constantly monitoring what he is consuming and in what quantity.

Chris Bumstead said, “We woke up under 2:40 and it’s just been about keeping me there all day, so it’s lowered my water, lowered my sodium, and we’re literally tracking everything that’s going in my body from the time to the grams to the ounces to the water.” He continued, “Everything that’s going in me, and then every time I eat or drink I take off all my clothes, I step on the scale and then we see oh can you eat a little more, can you drink a little more, and just balancing that out pretty much.”

He further added that he and his team have been dicing the potatoes in different ways to see which one extracts the most amount of liquid when cooked so that he gets the maximum carbs with the least amount of water. He revealed that later in his hotel room he’ll do his final late-night biceps and forearms workout, before the event.
