Often regarded as Maria’s look-alike Katherine, the eldest of Schwarzenegger’s children, shares a close bond with her mother. Katherine, the mother of two young girls, leads a very private life, but time and again, she takes to her social media handle to share glimpses of some extraordinary moments. An author herself, in 2020, the Arnold daughter penned an emotional tribute to mother Maria on the special occasion of mother’s day.

Expressing her gratitude, Katherine wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day to the greatest and most remarkable Mama in the entire world!” Acknowledging her for all the love and guidance, the author added, “we are the luckiest 4 kids in the entire world to have you as our mama.”

“Don’t Give Me That Party Crap”: Arnold Schwarzenegger Gave a Piece of Blunt Advice to Public Servants Recently

Maria and Arnold are parents of four kids. Though Maria had a successful professional life, she never compromised on her time for children; she always made it a point to be there for them. Kathrine confessed that she is “beyond blessed to learn” from her. She also thanked her mother for inspiring her to “be a mama.” She revealed that Maria was not just the perfect mom to her and her other three siblings but to everyone who came in contact with her.

Katherine made her mother emotional with a sweet gesture 

When Katherine embraced parenthood with Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt, she made her mother a sweet gesture. Leaving Maria “very pleasantly surprised,” the young mother named her firstborn daughter Lyla Maria Schwarzenegger Pratt.

Speaking with TODAY, the young mother confessed that they were unaware of whether they would have a boy or a girl. But since the day she knew she was going to be a mother, she decided to incorporate her mother’s name. She is following the family tradition.
