In January, the bodybuilding legend, Arnold Schwarzenegger, embarked on a fitness crusade. Schwarzenegger’s goal was to help working adults with little time to work out reach their fitness goals. So he started a daily fitness newsletter, The Pump Daily. Schwarzenegger has provided readers with workout challenges, fitness, and diet tips through his newsletter. In a matter of months, The Pump Daily has become quite popular, but the seven-time Mr. Olympia is not resting on his laurels.

A few weeks ago, the Austrian Oak announced that his newsletter had surpassed 250,000 subscribers. Despite the success, the bodybuilding icon has tirelessly promoted The Pump Daily on social media. However, his latest promotional attempt might be his most unusual and unique one.

Arnold Schwarzenegger taking the help of his four-legged friends

The five-time Mr. Universe winner posted a video on his Instagram profile that featured three of Schwarzenegger’s pets, Lulu the donkey, Whiskey the miniature horse, and one of his huskies. However, Lulu became the star of the video as her antics helped the former bodybuilding champion promote his newsletter.

In the Instagram video, Lulu the donkey began jumping and kicking the air with her hind legs before taking off. Schwarzenegger’s two other four-legged friends seemed startled by Lulu’s sudden outburst of energy. The huskie tried to chase after Lulu but lost its balance and fell. However, Whiskey didn’t seem excited at all.

The Hollywood icon turned the video into promotional material for his newsletter. “Lulu got her workout in (Whiskey and Dutch weren’t as pumped),” Arnie wrote in the caption of his Instagram video. “Sign up for my daily fitness newsletter at the link in my bio and you’ll have a workout and motivation in your inbox tomorrow morning,” he added.

When Arnold Schwarzenegger proved his doubters wrong

The bodybuilding legend took to social media on March 1, 2023, and thanked all his email newsletter subscribers. “THANK YOU to all of you who are part of my little village,” Schwarzenegger said. He also had a word for those naysayers. According to Arnire, many people had said his newsletter wouldn’t gain traction.

They told me we couldn’t add 250k readers to my daily email in 2 months, but because of you, we did the impossible,” wrote the Austrian Oak. We’ll have to wait and see how quickly his fitness newsletter reaches the next milestone.
