In 2022, Dr. Lyon gave an interview to Escape Fitness, where she described muscle building as “It’s very challenging and the most important task that you take on.” Being an advocate of issues related to fitness, Gabrielle advised women to stick to a proper diet and maintain an extensive workout, that will help them get results.

Slamming the myths around, she stated, “It takes a lot of effort to put on muscle. Women think, oh man, if I lift that 15 pound weight, I’m definitely gonna get big biceps.” Giving women the reality check, she further added, “You know how hard it is to put on muscle?… Women absolutely have to work. Because as they age, the hormonal decline works against them. Really putting on muscle and really optimizing for protein is again a non-negotiable.”
