Ronnie Coleman‘s legacy in bodybuilding remains unmatched to date. But the Louisana-born former police officer-turned-bodybuilder had an interesting past with a rather interesting diet. Coleman, who defined the mass monster era in combination with symmetry, must have adhered to a strict diet throughout his bodybuilding days. But he did have a weakness for one of America’s most prized fast food. Coleman’s stint as a worker in a fast-food chain in the late 1980s was particularly instrumental in developing this habit of him.

The topic comes up when Coleman shares that people often ask him what was his diet like. Lunsford agrees that he gets the same questions. This was in response to Lunsford wishing to share a bite with him during this Olympia.

It would be a big deal for Coleman to eat a pizza again
While Coleman’s diet wasn’t that pizza-heavy after he started bodybuilding in 1989, he still never stopped indulging in the delicious food till he retired. Ronnie Coleman last won Mr. Olympia in 2005, and it was his 8th straight win starting from 1998. But he retired in 2007, and since then hasn’t touched the beloved fast food. Coleman has also suffered some severe health risks including his kidneys that were affected by medications.

Coleman also underwent several surgeries but has since been in good shape and health. Whether the 8X Mr. Olympia winner will share a pizza with Lunsford or not, is to be seen, but a 16-year hiatus from indulging in such as food is a long time to get back in.
