Fit as a fiddle, Chris Pratt said in Men’s Health video, “You gotta treat yourself with a cheat meal”, before uncovering his top picks. He continued, “Pop over to red lobster… give me the biggest one you have… I wanna catch the oldest lobster on the planet, I want to look in the magnificent eyes of this beast, say ‘Oh my God! Pratt’s humor was not lost even during this revelation. A red lobster meal has more than 3,600 calories, way more than fried chicken does. So naturally, not a meal that’s part of anyone’s healthy diet plan. However, Pratt doesn’t mind going over to his in-law’s house on Sunday and having a red lobster that one day of the week.

Cheat meals are common among all fitness and health enthusiasts

“For me, it’s desserts man. I go to my mother-in-law’s house for Sunday family dinner, and I just go crazy on the desserts”, continued Pratt. He then started listing the names, which included “everything from ice cream, and cookies, cake, pie” etc. Since each of these items on the list contains hundreds of calories, fitness enthusiasts generally stay clear of them. But their deliciousness can’t be resisted for long. Even 4X Mr. Olympia Classic Physique winner Chris Bumstead indulged in a cheat meal right after winning the 2021 edition.

Pratt still maintains his shape as he burns those calories as soon as he is back in the gym after his cheat day meal. But cheat meals aren’t exclusive to him. Even his father-in-law, a bodybuilding legend and 7-time Mr. Olympia indulged in them. During his heydays, Schwarzenegger used to chow down the occasional cheeseburger with fries or a slice of pizza. After a week-long hard work in the gym, it’s something of a prize to them.
