One of their biggest fan, Arnold Schwarzenegger, issued a war cry for the legendary basketball player.?

He took to social media to hype up the Akron Hammer and motivated him to bring glory back to the Laker nation. Arnold spoke about the LeBron effect on the franchise and how they tried to reinvigorate themselves. Thus, James’ arrival became a blessing for the famous basketball franchise.?

As a franchise, the Lakers remain one of the best teams in the world. They have won 17 NBA titles and are tied with the Boston Celtics for the most Championships won. Winning 18 will be sweet. But back then, the Lakers were on 16, and LeBron arrived to change their fortune. As for Arnold, he gave him a grand welcome.?

“LeBron, you’re a champion. You’re the best. You’re the only one that can really make the Lakers great again. So go for it. Do it. I’m counting on you because there is no magic pill. I’m gonna watch you and the rest of the team, every single night. Hasta la Vista Baby!”?mentioned Arnold. He looked delighted to see the small forward arrive in Los Angeles. The first season with the Lakers saw James and co finish 10th in the Western Conference. That was the first time he missed the playoffs since 2006.
