Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s son, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger, is praying for the speedy recovery of recently injured NFL player Damar Hamlin. On Monday night, Hamlin suffered an injury during a game. While the specifics of the cause of it are not yet clear, the player is reportedly in critical condition.

Soon after the news broke out, the entire sports fraternity started praying for the well-being of the 24-year-old. Irrespective of the sport they play, many sports stars came forward to offer their prayers. These included the NBA player LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes, Russell Williams, etc. Recently, actor Patrick Schwarzenegger also joined them in praying for Hamlin.

Patrick Schwarzenegger took to his official Twitter handle to show his love and support for Buffalo Bills’ no. 3. Schwarzenegger quoted a tweet by Cameron Tabatabaie about Hamlin and added a little caption of his own. Not using any words, a single emoji was enough to show what Schwarzenegger meant. He used a single folded hand emoji to send his prayers for Damar Hamlin.

The original tweet was by Tabatabaie. He urged the fans to not focus on the narrative of an ESPN reporter (who later corrected was a Fox reporter). He urged the fans to watch Hamlin’s latest Instagram post instead. “Let’s celebrate Damar Hamlin rather than gawk at some creepy ESPN reporter’s tweet. Here’s @HamlinIsland’s most recent Instagram post – scenes from his annual holiday toy drive,” he tweeted. Schwarzenegger retweeted this on his profile.

The tweet was in reference to an insensitive comment made by some reporters. Due to the player’s injury NFL postponed the game until further notice, and the reporters questioned the need for the delay. It irked many fans considering the gravity of the situation.

What happened to the 24-year-old Buffalo Bills player?

Buffalo Bills went head-to-head with Cincinnati Bengals in an intense match on Monday night. However, the game came to an unexpected halt when Bills’ safety suddenly collapsed on the field. This happened right after he got up after tackling Bengals’ wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Medical assistance was immediately given to Hamlin on the field. They also gave him CPR. However, when his condition did not get better, he was rushed to the Cincinnati Medical Center. NFL postponed the match thereafter. As per the reports, the player had suffered a cardiac arrest and is currently in critical condition.
