What did you think of the Super Bowl?”, asked Manager Matt on the Cutler Cast podcast. Cutler responded, “I was really disappointed man. The Eagles came out strong, and I, you know I was gonna lay it all on Mahomes and the Chiefs… he had an injury you know, had a high ankle strain, that they were talking about. I know in athletics when you are that talented, it’s kind of hard to hold someone… The quarterbacks win the Super Bowl you know”, revealing his conflict with the Chiefs’ plan to play Mahomes despite his injury.
But Mahomes’ performance in turn surprised everyone. Cutler continued, “But hurts… Man, I was a little disappointed, I almost pulled the trigger to go the Chiefs way, and you know at the end I kinda just looked at the Eagles… It was a nail-biter.
