The 28-year-old IFBB professional inspires rookies to get a healthy body in the right way. He gave some stern advice to the new aspirants in bodybuilding through some YouTube videos. In 2022, an account shared a short video of him virtually communicating with his followers. Though he started by referring to his own approach to taking steroids, he then went on talking about his realization of his mistakes. The reigning Mr. O said, “Do you wanna be the best at something for someone who is young, or do you wanna be the best period? Personally, I wanna be the best, period. Not just the best young person to do something. So, f**k age, don’t hop on years, live in the basics, get strong, go to the gym, and take it all slow.”

Eventually, CBum’s foremost intention was to guide beginners to remain trouble-free throughout their careers. Taking from his own mistakes, he definitely didn’t want them to repeat the same. Excessive and unmonitored usage of steroids could lead to disastrous results. And Mr. O didn’t think the competition could be worth risking lives. Thus, he stated, “No one gives a flying f**k, I was pro at ’21, on the Olympia stage at ’22, I believe, and no one knows that, no one cares, no one remembers. A year, a week after it happened, people were like ‘wow! look how young he is’, and then no one cares.”

Bumstead faced hard times in his career

While he made a successful career debut in 2017, ending up in the 2nd place, the following year gave him a tough time. People loved him in the first year and had high expectations. Though CBum was doing a great job and built a more defined and jacked body, he was diagnosed with kidney disease. As a result, he had to go for dialysis just a few days before the competition.
