Phil Heath Gives a Comprehensive Analysis of How to Surpass “Really F**king Hard to Beat” Big Ramy Ahead of Mr. Olympia 2022

The most awaited weekend for fans of bodybuilding has finally arrived. With the reigning champion, mammoth Mamdouh Elssbiay A.K.A Big Ramy giving a tough fight and becoming the popular first choice on “Who’s next?”, the narrative of Mr. Olympia 2022 has been “Who can beat Big Ramy?” instead of “Who will win the title?” Phil Heath, 7 x Mr. Olympia is no different. However, he makes a valid point. He talks about the only way to beat the reigning champion.

Heath, who is also the 2022 Mr. Olympia live telecast host, recently joined Dave Palumbo, former Editor-in-Chief of Muscular Development magazine to discuss an array of speculations around the contest.

The bodybuilding champion reveals the only way to beat Ramy is to out-condition him. “If you’re not going to out-condition this guy, forget it,” Heath said.

Moreover, Heath shared that his approach to dealing with a competitive opponent is “to always try to negate his strengths.” Also, he shared his analysis and related effort. Considering that Ramy is wider, and he had rounder muscles, he said, “so I wanted to make sure I was more 3D than him.”

That said, he emphasized the invincibility of the highly proclaimed dominant participant in the sport that if Ramy presents himself in a good shape, “it’s really f**king hard to beat.”
