The name Arnold Schwarzenegger is not unknown unless one is living under a rock. From his bodybuilding journey to his shift into the acting world to his grand entrance into politics, fans have noted them all. Although his childhood wasn’t smooth, his hard work and dedication offered him some of the best achievements. Alongside that, Arnold found himself a few good and worthy companies.

Recently, an unseen image of long-time friends, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Sylvester Stallone, and Franco Columbu was showcased on Instagram. Their friendship and matching alignment are what fans draw inspiration from.

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Franco Columbu shared a strong bond between them. The roots of their friendship grew long back in time. Sylvester, on the other hand, met the former boxer Franco in 1977 when he was looking for a chiropractor. 

Not long ago, a beautiful photo of the three muscle men was posted on Instagram. It captured Arnold, Stallone, and Franco laughing, talking, and working out. It was clicked during their golden era of bodybuilding in the 70s and 80s at Muscle Beach Venice. (3/6 picture of the Instagram post below)

Back then, Sylvester Stallone was preparing himself for his roles as Rocky and Rambo. Franco helped him gain muscle with the help of several exercises. It involved abs training, unique barbell movements, and whatnot. Initially, Stallone had a lean athletic look, but his transformation after training under Franco was phenomenal.

Two years ago, in 2019, Franco left the two behind after taking his last breath at 78. It was devastating and painful for both Arnold and Stallone to put up with that. The two even paid a heartfelt tribute to the legend through social media.

Former bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger still cherishes the 54 happy years of friendship he spent with his best friend, Franco. The actor has built a whole mansion for Franco in his heart and locked all the moments starting from the day they first met. 

After the news of Franco passing away reached Arnold’s ears, he uploaded an overwhelming post dedicated to his late best friend. 

“I love you Franco. I will always remember the joy you brought to my life, the advices you gave me, and the twinkle in your eye that never disappeared.” the caption read. “You were my best friend.”
