Every bodybuilder needs a special diet that helps them build their muscles and provides essential energy to spend hours at the gym. However, Coleman’s diet is beyond a commoner’s imagination and at the same time, a nightmare for vegetarian and vegan people. The legend bodybuilder’s diet is totally built around meat consumption, whereas around 9.7 million Americans are vegan.

Excluding the vegan population, even meat lovers would not survive Coleman’s meaty diet like YouTuber Aseel Soueid. Back in November 2020, Soueid tried to eat Coleman’s diet as a part of his YouTube series “I Ate Like _.”

From breakfast to dinner, most of the meals in Coleman’s diet majorly consisted of meat. According to the video, for one of the meals, Coleman eats – two seared chicken breasts with two cups of white rice, red beans, and two slices of toast. Then for the next one, the bodybuilder eats – two more chicken breasts and a large baked potato. While trying to eat this protein-packed meal, Soueid commented. “I have no idea how Ronnie Coleman can eat this much.”

However, Coleman doesn’t stop here. The bodybuilder consumes one more meal, yet again fully packed with meat dishes. This meal was the most challenging meal of all for Soueid, as it consisted of a 9-ounce sirloin steak, another chicken breast, fries, and another baked potato. Soon the YouTuber noticed that Coleman’s diet did not have many “greens” in them. He said, “One thing I’ve noticed about Ronnie Coleman’s diet is that it doesn’t consist of much vegetables.”

Even for a meat lover, following Ronnie Coleman’s diet will be a difficult task.

What bodybuilding triumphs has the meat-packed diet helped Coleman achieve?

After winning eight consecutive Mr. Olympia titles, Coleman is tied with Lee Haney. He is considered one of the most successful bodybuilders in Olympia’s history. He had also won the IFBB 1992 World Amateur Championships.

Coleman is currently partially paralyzed, due to his longing health issues. Nonetheless, even today, the bodybuilding icon often trains and helps young athletes at the gym.
