The bodybuilding world is no stranger to Synthol. Albeit temporarily, these thick oil products are often administered deep into the belly of muscle fibers to give them a pumped appearance. While Synthol abuse often takes the center stage in bodybuilding debates, a Russian MMA fighter Kirill ‘Popeye’ Tereshin took it a lot many steps further. All hell broke loose post 2019 when the bolder-ous implants started having detrimental health consequences.

In a recent post on his Instagram, whatever kidney dysfunctions led Tereshin to go under the knife, it seems the fake muscle man continues to maintain and flaunt his synthol-induced biceps as he posed in front of a lush, beautiful mountain. Despite warnings from doctors and facing health defects in the past, Tereshin continues to maintain them.

Despite all the red flags, Kirill Tereshin has no plans on giving up his bulging biceps

“I fly Vulcan love”, Tereshin wrote in his Instagram post. Comments flooded across a range of sentiments, the most common being the reminders of how Synthol has been particularly damaging for him in the past. He initially did it to become the most famous person in the world. His belief that it would make him look unique, was not in consideration of the potential damages it might incur.

While Synthol acts as a site enhancement oil, the potentially toxic oil, if injected in large amounts, can cause other side effects. As it did with Tereshin. Besides his biceps turning purple and red, Tereshin has also claimed to have problems with his brain in the past.

The 26-year-old has maintained such looks with his arms for more than five years now. He is a young army veteran and has already put his life in grave danger. However, despite all threats to his health, which he is perfectly aware of, Tereshin seems to be perfectly enjoying his vacation around the world and is unabashedly posting photos on Instagram. His uniquely bulging arms still remain a center of attraction.

Even after a series of corrective measures, Kirill continues to sustain his fake biceps

Kirill had to undergo multiple corrective operations since 2019. After he injected nearly three pounds of petroleum jelly into each arm, he sustained multiple complications. The pump blocked the blood flow leading the muscle tissue to die. As the surgeon could operate only on one arm, Tereshin went in for a second round of medical procedures in 2021. Not to mention, he had surgery for removing his fake triceps already and will probably require more corrective operations in the future as well. Amidst such concerns, he continues to walk on a double-edged sword, all the while maintaining his monstrous biceps.

Kirill Tereshin is still young, with a long life ahead of him. But if his pride over his arms continues to blind him in his pursuit of well-being, there might be potentially grave dangers ahead for the bodybuilder. But as of now, Tereshin seems to be chilling, and it doesn’t seem like he’ll stop anytime soon. What do you think about Tereshin’s recent post? Is it high time he stops using synthol or should he be able to do what he wants with his body? Let us know in the comments below.
