For those unversed about Boanc’s situation, the bodybuilder has been suffering from an inflamed kidney. However, despite the diagnosis, the Ghanaian bodybuilder has decided to compete in the Arnold Classic 2023 event. For this, he also ditched the consumption of oral steroids. But as a veteran bodybuilder and a professional coach, Bannout believes it is ideal for Bonac to withdraw from the competition and put his health first.

During the discussion, he further added, “If he’s going to do the show taking orals or not, and he said he must stop his medication that he’s using to release the pressure off his kidneys, so that also will interfere with the absorption of the anabolics he’ll be taking. Overall, it’s not a smart decision to do that show [2023 Arnold Classic] in my opinion. I like Bonac, don’t get me wrong. He’s a good guy, but sometimes the money tempts you to do things.”

But it seems like Bonac has already made up his mind and does not want to give up so easily. With or without steroids, the 40-year-old bodybuilder seems to be absolutely confident about his participation in the upcoming event.

Although a kidney disease does not sound good before a prestigious bodybuilding competition, Bonac is not down and out. He recently revealed that the situation is not severe and would continue moving forward with the help of prescribed medicines.

However, the medicines seemed to cause a problem in his preparations, due to which he did not take any of them. But to also prioritize his health, Boanc stopped using oral steroids right before the competition. While maintaining a balance between his health and passion, Bonac seems confident about his chances at the Arnold Classic 2023.
