This year’s Arnold Sports Festival came to the end on Sunday with what Arnold Schwarzenegger claims to be one of the most interesting lineups. The event certainly saw exceptional feats from the bodybuilding and powerlifting athletes over four days. While the main events of the Arnold Classic 2023 are done and dusted, the last day of the contest comprised the Rogue Record Breakers event.

Today, Arnold Sports posted a video on their social media handle sharing a glimpse of the record-breaking strongwoman Gabi Dixon. She was seen holding the Dinnie stone and broke the previous world record. This was followed by fans wasting no time talking about her incredible feat. Let’s get to know more about this.

Gabi Dixon holds the record

The official Instagram account shared a snippet of the Rogue Record Breakers contest today. They captioned the post with, “NEW RECORD @gabigrl_prostrongwoman sets a new Rogue Record in the Women’s Replica Dinnie Stone Hold with a time of 6.86 seconds.” As the video proceeded, Dixon was preparing for the lift and after securing her pose, she finally lifted Dinnie stone. Not only that, she held them off the ground for an impressive 6.86 seconds. In fact, she outperformed the previous record of 1.33 seconds set by Chloe Brennan last year.

Evidently, this was Dixon’s second world record at the Rogue Record Breakers event. The first was when she did a marvelous job at the Thor’s Hammer Hold event. Unlike the Men’s event, the women had to hold the 50-lb hammer. The strongwoman excelled in this while holding it for a notable 49.15 seconds. In fact, Dixon broke the world record set by Rebecca Roberts for 39.09 seconds.

Since 2021, Dixon has been able to project some superhuman feats. In the 2022 World’s Strongest Nation competition, too, this American powerlifter manifested a strong level of grip strength. Notably, in that year, Dixon outshined her Men and Women competitors at the Hercules Hold Event and blew off the minds of her fans just like she did this year.

With this record-breaking performance, Dixon managed to raise some eyebrows among her fans. The post saw fans not waste the chance to congratulate their star. Encouraging the powerlifter, some wrote,

“LETS GOOOOO”

“That lady strroooonnnnggggg”

“You go girl”

“She a bad a**”

“STRONG A** QUEEN”

One fan penned, “That looks painful”, referring to her holding the weights for that long a time. Another curious fan commented, “I want to know her ab routine!” Definitely, Dixon’s superhuman physique and incredibly strong potential made fans go bonkers over her feat.
