In an interview, Bumstead talked about how he thought girls felt about bodybuilding. Putting a fun and interesting twist to his interview, the bodybuilder debunked the myth that girls found bodybuilders attractive. Here’s the reason why.

Why does Chris Bumstead feel that bodybuilders aren’t attractive to women?

Going to the gym, working out intensely, and growing some muscles – sounds enticing to most people. However, Bumstead thinks that it’s natural to get carried away. Bodybuilding gets addictive easily, and while one might start with the goal of becoming more attractive, one might end up becoming humongous. The slightly ripped figure with a six-pack grows into an obsession over growing and sculpting every muscle on your body. However, the important question that the interviewer raised was – does it help get girls?

Bumstead’s simple answer is no. From what Bumstead witnessed in his own case, he explained that women don’t prefer too much muscle. In fact, a larger, more muscular figure, along with veins showing, “they find that kinda gross” from what Bumstead realized.

However, when he would put up pictures before a championship with a shredded and defined body, women wouldn’t prefer that. In a plot twist, the champion accepted an alternate reality.

He exclaimed that men gave him more attention than women. Especially when he was at the peak of his bodybuilding journey. While it was initially awkward, he accepted and appreciated it.
