When Jay met Marcos Rodriguez, he hardly knew that his life would take an unexpected turn. The duo came together for a partnership that lasted for years. As Marcos became Jay’s personal trainer, the latter started to learn the sport’s nuances. He was a natural at bodybuilding.

Very soon, he perfected himself in the role. Back in 1992, he made his professional debut. He entered the Gold’s gym Worcester Bodybuilding Championship. Though he came second that year, his spirits remained uncrushed. Four times, Cutler would place second to Ronnie until winning his first Sandow trophy in 2006. Cutler eventually crafted a legacy that only a few could match.
