Arnold Schwarzenegger has been an all-rounder of public figures. The icon started off as a bodybuilder and won the title of Mr. Olympia 7 times in a row. He soon began his career in acting and went on to play the lead role in the iconic ‘Terminator’ series, among other memorable characters as well. Shortly after, the star began his political career and briefly held the position of the Governor of California.

However, every star goes through a series of hits and misses on their journey to the top; Arnold was no exception to that fact. In an interview back in 2014, the ‘Austrian Oak’ talked about his 1994 movie Junior, which was widely condemned by critics.
Arnold Schwarzenegger felt they went overboard with Junior
Remembering ‘Junior’, which hit the theaters back in 1994, Arnold once reflected on how he thought it would do better. The movie, starring him, Emma Thompson, and Danny DeVito, was about a researcher who becomes pregnant by taking an unauthorized fertility drug. The star confessed that while the results weren’t what he expected, movies went through ups and downs all the time. “I’ve had great successes and a lot of things that went in the toilet and failed. There’s no science to the whole thing,” he said.

The actor also mentioned how he had no intention of making any sequels to the movie or reviving the main role. He accepted that he and the filmmakers went a bit overboard with the movie. He confessed, “There’s certain movies where we went a little overboard. Some of the stuff is successful, and some stuff go down the toilet.” The legend expressed that while a story could seem promising, sometimes it wouldn’t come out as expected.

Nevertheless, the icon has not stopped achieving. Whether it’s acting, directing, producing, or participating in sports or politics, Schwarzenegger has always remained at the forefront. The superstar has set his legacy across many fields and still continues to inspire those who look up to him. Through his goodwill work as the Governor or as an entertainer on the big screen, Arnold Schwarzenegger remains a fan favorite.
