Hany reminded Chris that bodybuilding is not just about physical strength, but mental strength as well. Hany’s tough words helped Chris to stay motivated and focused, despite the setback. Chris took Hany’s words to heart and went on the stage and rest, as they say, is the history.

The impact of the bicep tear wasn’t just limited to how Cbum looked but also had a serious effect on his mental health. When Chris tore his bicep, his devastation reached the point where he had a minor breakdown in the washroom. In an Instagram post after the contest, Cbum acknowledged, “I kinda had one of my Cbum moments in the bathroom, crying. I got on my knees in front of this mirror in this private bathroom and I looked at myself and I was like, ‘What’s going on man?”
