Arnold Schwarzenegger speaks about his weight gain
The legendary bodybuilder, Arnold Schwarzenegger, is very active on social media. He shares updates on his life and his goals with his fans on the platform. Before releasing his monthly newsletter, the champion bodybuilder used Instagram as a media of communication between him and his fans. In March 2021, Arnold shared a post on Instagram revealing that he had gained weight despite maintaining a workout routine at home.
Arnold was not happy with his self-image. He had to get back in shape for his future film projects. Revealing about that, he wrote, “I’ve gained 10 pounds and when I wear dark clothes during Zooms, I feel pretty good, but when I look at myself in the mirror at night I see the belly, I’m cursing at myself.” Arnold would remind himself of his achievements as a motivation to get back in shape.

“The Guinness Book of World Records called you ‘the most perfectly developed man in the history of the world!’ What the hell happened to the six-pack? What is going on here? This is depressing”, he wrote. The star actor revealed that gaining 10 pounds in the lockdown course made him feel depressed. Despite undergoing pulmonary valve replacement surgeries in his life, the legend does not seem to stop.

Arnold’s health issues
The Austrian Oak, Arnold Schwarzenegger, was born with a congenital heart defect. The condition runs in his family, with his mother and maternal grandmother having similar heart issues. In 2020, Arnold shocked his fans when he revealed that he had undergone heart surgery. The champion bodybuilder took to Instagram to inform his fans about the surgery.

He posted a picture of himself from the hospital bed with a thumbs up. It was the second time he had undergone surgery. Previously, he underwent pulmonic valve replacement surgery in 1997 and 2018. “I have a new aortic valve to go along with my new pulmonary valve from my last surgery,” he captioned the post. Arnold thanked the doctors and nurses at the Cleveland clinic.
