If fact, Ohanian is a massive Schwarzenegger fan who has also met the bodybuilding icon. Recently, the former Mr. Universe released a hard-hitting message to the world. Like many others, Ohanian felt deeply moved.

Earlier today, the tennis icon’s husband shared the Austrian’s strong message on his Instagram page and made set an honest goal for himself.

Arnold Schwarzenegger inspires Ohanian’s resolution

The co-founder of Reddit shared the former Governor of California’s message on his Instagram story. He provided the Instagram link to Schwarzenegger’s video which the bodybuilding legend uploaded on YouTube a week ago. The former Mr. Olympia made the video after his visit to Auschwitz, a second world war concentration camp turned museum, last year.

In the hard-hitting video, the seven-time Mr. Olympia recounted the harrowing experience of touring Auschwitz. According to the Hollywood icon, every corner of the former concentration camp reminded him of the atrocities committed decades ago. “1.1 million men, women, and children lost their lives,” said Arnold in the preview of the view that Ohanian shared on Instagram.

After listening to the former politician’s message, the entrepreneur recalled his visit to a different second world war concentration camp, Dachau. “I’ll never forget visiting Dachau,” Alexis Ohanian captioned his Instagram story. Inspired by the bodybuilding legend, he also made a resolution. “One day I’ll visit Auschwitz, too,” wrote the Reddit co-founder.

However, this isn’t the first time Schwarzenegger has inspired Ohanian. The entrepreneur posted about reading the Total Recall actor’s autobiography. Last year, he also honored Schwarzenegger for reaching a special milestone.

Ohanian honored the Governator

On Dec 1, 2022, Serena William’s husband tweeted a photo of himself and the bodybuilding legend. He posted the photo to celebrate Schwarzenegger’s 10th “cake day” on Reddit. “Happy (slightly belated) 10-Year Cake Day @Schwarzenegger  — you’ve been an amazing Redditor for over a decade now,” wrote the tennis star’s husband.

“We’re so glad to have you in the @reddit community for the last 10 years pumping folks up,” added Ohanian. In the photo, Schwarzenegger posed with a hammer. The hammer had the Reddit up-vote and down-vote icons on each side, with “Hasta La Vista Baby,” written in the middle.
