The now 80-year-old IFBB pro, had one of the most symmetrical and proportionate physiques that made him stand alone. Zane’s social media contains a plethora of his pictures, and along with them come his little tips. Recently, he shared an old picture of him from his prime, with another suggestion to help people to change their approach. Let’s get to know more about it.

Frank Zane shared a glimpse from his peak days

In his latest Instagram post, the veteran bodybuilder shared a throwback picture from his heydays. In the picture, Zane can be seen flaunting his shredded stature while shooting in front of the camera. The caption read, “This will definitely help you to get a smaller waistline and gain control of your abdominal muscles. It can only be done on an empty stomach, so a good time to practice is when you first begin to feel hungry.”

In fact, to emphasize it, “practice stomach vacuum” was written in bold white letters across the picture. However, with this snap, the 80-year-old icon shared potential wisdom of how to achieve a smaller waistline. While many accomplished bodybuilders struggle to get it perfectly, Zane had the second-thinnest waistline among all bodybuilders in his era, second only to Sergio Oliva.

While working out rigorously in the gym is a way to get rid of body fat, Zane once cited another way that will help maintain a healthy lifestyle too. Previously, The Chemist had posted an old picture of his exquisite physique and shared the wisdom in the caption. He wrote, “Eat only when you are hungry. By not forcing yourself to eat when you aren’t hungry, you can burn more fat and look better as a result.”

Evidently, this has been Zane’s secret mantra to burn body fat for years when he used to take part in competitions. Zane has followed this routine his whole life, and it has worked magnificently for him all through these years, as he is still in fabulous shape.
