71-Year-Old Bodybuilding Legend Lou Ferrigno Shows Distress Over Not Having a “Perfect Summer Body” With a Hilarious Hulk Picture

Lou Ferrigno is an inexplicable character who played multifaceted roles throughout his life. This bodybuilding legend was Mr. America, who worked as a co-star of Arnold Schwarzenegger in Pumping Iron and won two consecutive Mr. Universe titles. Although most of his fandom is based on Ferrigno’s portrayal of the titular role in CBS’s The Incredible Hulk.

However, at this moment, the 71-year-old legend had expressed his distress at not having a targeted body. The bodybuilder is very active on social media and often posts several throwback pictures, just like he did a couple of days ago.

While acting in The Hulk, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in the 1960s, Ferrigno owned a special place in the hearts of the fans. With his portrayal of the beast who threw violent tantrums, intense rage, and destructive abilities, the American actor engraved his recognition into the industry. For this, he often loves to talk about and address The Hulk in his words.

On April 18, 2023, the former Mr. America took to his Instagram to treat his fans with a recent update. He added a throwback picture of him as the Hulk and wrote, “When the weather starts heating up but your body isn’t ready for summer,” in the comments.

His schoolmates used to make fun of him for his hearing problems, which fueled him to find a resort in bodybuilding and then roleplaying as Hulk.

However, Ferrigno was a huge Hulk fan from his childhood. Collecting and reading Hulk comics gave him a chance to escape reality for a short while. As he stated, “I used to read Hulk comics all the time because it gave me a chance to escape.”
