The 29-year-old actor and model revealed that his last name is like a sword with two edges. Patrick claimed that although having a stellar upbringing inspires him, it also puts pressure on him.

Patrick Schwarzenegger said, “Coming from my family is a double-edged sword. It can be incredibly inspirational, but it also puts on a lot of pressure.” At the beginning of his career, Patrick struggled to pave a career by virtue of his talent and not just his family name.

Patrick Schwarzenegger expressed remorse over people’s thoughts that he doesn’t need to work and has no work ethic. He said, “The first thing people say to me when we meet is, ‘You’re rich, your dad is wealth (y), you have no work ethic – you don’t have to work”. He explained, “That’s hard to hear because it’s not true“.

Patrick cited his parents as an example and gave them the credit for instilling ‘drive’ within him. He said, “It probably comes from both my parents and my whole family being so driven.” He added, “I owe them a lot, and I really recognize that privilege“.
