However, not everyone agrees with his views. One such individual left an absurd comment on Gaspari’s latest Instagram post.

A comment with no context

Earlier today, the 59-year-old retired bodybuilder shared a video on Instagram. It was a snippet from his 1987 video series, New Age Muscle. In the short clip, Gaspari shows off his tripes after completing a set of tricep push-downs. “Showing off my triceps after Tricep push-downs from my video series New Age Muscle,” he wrote.

In 1987, the 59-year-old bodybuilder was in his prime. He finished in second place to the record-setting Lee Haney at Mr. Olympia for the second time. The following year, ‘The Dragon Slayer’ would win the Arnold Classic. However, an Instagram user took issue with Gaspari’s physique and criticized him for the comments.

“You would get smoked today in the classic class,” wrote the user. He also said Gaspari “would be last in the open today. (Nick) Walker would make you his son.” However, the comment had no context to the video Gaspari had posted and infuriated the veteran bodybuilder. The former champion called the user “a funny guy.”

The bodybuilding veteran shared his opinion on the Arnold Classic 2023

A week ago, Gaspari was a guest at The Menace Podcast hosted by Dennis James. During his conversation with James, Chris Cormier, and Milos Sarcev, the 59-year-old gave his opinion on the Arnold Classic 2023. Gaspari revealed he had talked to Nick Walker before the show, and Walker told Gaspari he had dropped 10 lbs.

However, Gaspari said Walker might have made the wrong decision. “Maybe he lost intramuscular fat, but he didn’t have density to the muscle when he stood next to Samson,” he told the host. The Dragon Slayer’s statement on Walker might have upset the individual.
