Sage Kimzey speaks about his new priorities

In an interview posted by Teton Ridge and Alexis Kimzey on Instagram, Sage Kimzey was interviewed alongside his wife Alexis by Kadee Coffman Blair. On many occasions, the seven-time PRCA bull riding world champion Kimzey has stated his intentions and goals to beat the eight-time world champion Donald Gay’s record of eight world championships. So Kadee queried about whether this goal still occupied a prime spot on his bucket list and asked, What is the next chapter? Reflecting, Sage Kimzey answered, Man, am I doing the right thing?

He explained the dilemma of being separated for months from his most cherished gift, which was his beautiful family. He shared,I couldn’t live with myself if I wasn’t there for Steele and if I wasn’t there for her,” pointing at his loving wife Alexis. The trailblazer also said that he would most definitely love to achieve an eight-gold buckle, butI can live without the eight-gold buckle. I can’t live with myself not being there for my family,” shared Kimzey. This loving moment shone a light on the beautiful bond and relationship the couple share, as well as the soft side of the raw talent that is Kimzey.

Back in 2020, Sage Kimzey and award-winning journalist Alexis Kimzey said I do to each other in Little Elm, Texas. The duo bonded in 2015, and since then, their journey has won countless hearts in the world of PBR. They welcomed their baby boy, Steele Randall Kimzey, in 2022.

Sage Kimzey’s words moved Alexis Kimzey to tears as she said, I’m excited to go to this chapter with you, and I’m super proud of who you are as a man and who you are in the arena, and I’m so glad our son has you to look up to,” as she reached out to hold her loving husband’s hand.
