In 2022, Grandmaster Magnus Carlsen attended the World Rapid and Blitz in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Forthwith the tournament, Carlsen, Canadian Grandmaster Eric Hansen, and Norwegian Grandmaster Aryan Tari went for the dinner treat. Interestingly, for their after-dinner plans, they chose to sing karaoke. 

Moreover, to share their singing prowess with fans and the chess fraternity, the official Twitter handle of World Chess shared the music video of Carlsen, Eric, and Aryan. As per the video, the three of them were singing Beggin’ by Maneskin. And, captioning the video, the World Chess urged everyone to complete the lyrics. They penned, “I’m beggin’, beggin’ youuuuuu” and left a blank line for the fans to share their perspectives on the video.
