Djokovic won 20 Grandslam titles while being the current number one in the world. With a record of nine Australian Open titles, he is equaled with Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal for the most Grand Slam titles won in tennis. What stands him apart would be the head-to-head record against both these players. He leads both Federer (27-23) and Nadal (30-28) with that record. Hence, as fans consider those players to be the GOATs; with tennis, being an individual sport, it makes sense.

Meanwhile, Hamilton’s case seems concrete. Although doubts regarding his driving skills always exist because of the car that Mercedes put forward, he is an incredible champion. Winning seven F1 titles is a testament to his hard work and passion. Likewise, he is the first person to reach triple-digits for most wins in F1 history with 102. Significantly, he also leads for most points (4121.5), most consecutive point finishes (48), most podium finishes (180) as the list goes on. Many consider Michael Schumacher to be the GOAT but Hamilton has a case!
