Carly Pearce won the Grammy, and now she is off to the Oscars of horseracing, the most famous equestrian race on this planet, the Kentucky Derby. Pearce posted a cryptic video on her Instagram, in which she was seen taking out a humongous red hat from the packaging. The country singer then proceeded to try it out. Along with the video, Pearce included the caption, “Hmmm what could this mean?? Place your bets below for what it could be 👀”.
The cryptic caption gave a nod to the mystery occasion for the hat. But her hashtags clarified the situation completely, and she wrote, “#KentuckyDerby #KD149 #KyDerby”. As soon as Pearce shared the reel, her fans proceeded to guess what her role would be at the Kentucky Derby, with many hoping that she will be responsible for belting out the national anthem or a famous Derby song.
