The Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championship, 2023, just took place at the SAP Centre which is located in San Jose, California. American figure skater, Isabeau Levito, just made history at the event. She won the gold at the U.S. championship, and probably sealed her fate as a future Olympian. This is a pretty big feat, given the fact that she is merely 15 years old.
Needless to say, she was ecstatic after winning the championship. After all, she had done something she didn’t think was possible.

Levito was over the moon and at a loss for words. “I actually can’t even find the word to describe it right now,” she said. But the amazing performance that she gave actually did not need any description. The gold that she won was self-explanatory.
Isabeau Levito: A Force of Nature
Levito got an insane final total of 223.33, which catapulted her to the first position. She got a margin of 10 points over Bradie Tennell, who scored a 213.12 and came in second. Levito wowed everyone with a triple-lutz half-loop triple-salchow sequence, which probably gave her an edge over the other competitors. While this was her first title in the U.S. Skating Championships, Levito is not a total stranger to accolades.

In fact, she has many under her wing. Levito won the silver medal at the Grand Prix Final held in 2022-2023. She has also won the silver at the ISU Grand Prix, not once, but twice. She won the champion title at the CS Nepela Memorial that was held in 2022. Last year at the U.S. National Championship, she won the bronze as well.
