32-year-old, Alex Morgan, is an American sensation, having represented the USWNT for over ten years. Making her debut in 2009, she was the youngest to have joined the squad back then. However, she recently made headlines after opening up on her team’s experience at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.
Over time, she has bagged several laurels for herself and her nation. Notably, she scored the winning goal against Canada at the 2012 Olympic Games held in London. Moreover, she remarkably finished that season with 28 goals and 21 assists, becoming the only American woman to do so in the same calendar year.

Opening up on her time in Tokyo, Alex said, “You can’t go outside of the hotel at al. Like our phones were tracked and also we wanted to stay in Japan and not get kicked out. So that was an important piece as well. We also wanted to stay safe and healthy and not at risk of contracting COVID.”
Career feats by Morgan
Given her heroics for the National side and for the Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Football League, fans and followers regard Morgan highly. Although, apart from being an exceptional footballer, she is quite the actress as well. The American superstar featured in a movie called ‘Alex and Me.’
Notably, she also made it to Time magazine, who acknowledged her as the most paid athlete in the year 2015. At the recent Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo, she claimed the bronze with the USWNT, defeating Australia with a score of 4-3.
