At the age of 25, the world knows Simone Biles as the gymnastics G.O.A.T. Additionally, she has won most all-around titles, and her 25 world championship medals and 7 Olympics medals have given her the title of the most decorated athlete in the sport. On the question of body consciousness, 4’8 ft. Biles said, “It’s amazing that I can inspire little kids to know that you can be short or tall, and your body type doesn’t matter because you can do anything.”
The four-time Olympic gold medalist further added, “that’s what I love about how diverse our team is—we have such different body types, yet together we build the best team there is. I think we’re stronger together than individually.”

How Biles dealt with body shamers
Being in a competitive profession like gymnastics, with praise and appreciation also come rude comments. However, Biles became strong and bulletproof to such negativity over time. About body shaming and how she dealt with it, Biles revealed, “I’ve learned to put on a strong front and let most of it slide.”
The gymnastics G.O.A.T. has gone through a lot in her life. But with every obstacle, she turned into a strong individual. With time, she began trusting and loving herself and that’s how she became one of the legends of the sport.
