As the most popular and accomplished gymnast, every young girl who dreams of being an Olympic gymnast knows the name of Simone Biles. The GOAT has already established her legacy in her relatively short career so far. Even before the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics, there was no doubt about that.

Now, while taking a break from her competitive career, Biles will marry her fiance NFL player Jonathan Owens sometime next year. As a role model to many young girls, what’s Biles’ take on having children of her own?

Simone Biles talks about kids and more

At the Rio 2016 Games, Simone Biles stunned the world, winning four gold medals and a bronze at her first Olympics. It landed her in the interviewee seat more than a few dozen times, and we got to know a lot more about her personal goals.

In a similar almost-an-hour-long in-depth interview, Biles opened up on her dreams and aspirations away from the mat. When Daphne Oz asked the gymnastics legend if she wanted kids in the future, her response was a resounding yes.

“I do want kids,” Biles said“I really want twins. But like you can’t make that happen but I’m gonna look at every secret formula to try to make that happen.” That’s right, not only did she claim to want kids, she wanted a package deal of two that mirror each other and cause havoc.

Biles also relayed her dream place to live. “I really wanna live in Hawaii. I think that’d be so cool,” she continued. Perhaps a surfing career isn’t out of the cards for the gymnastics GOAT.

The supportive and loving Biles family

In the beginning, Simone Biles’ experience with parental figures was rocky at best. Her birth mother, Shannon Biles, struggled with addiction and could not provide for her children. And her birth father was never in the picture.

But when the 32 global medals holder was just 6, their maternal grandfather, Ronald Biles, and his wife, Nellie, adopted her and her sister Adria. Since then, the gymnast has never gone a day without the love of supportive and involved parents.

Biles has often spoken about how her parents “saved” her from a tough situation. Since she was very young when the ordeal took place, Biles has a plethora of happy memories of her family, and the “adopted” status did not bother her.
