Simone Biles’ brother gets another major surgery
Sammi Biles, the sister-in-law of Simone Biles, recently took to Instagram stories to share a video from a hospital dated November 29, 2023, which was just four days after Baby Biles turned 1 on November 25. In the video, Ron Biles II, dressed in a blue hospital gown with the help of crutches, was surrounded by a supportive team of doctors and nurses as he courageously attempted to walk.

Ron Biles Jr’s health woes

Back in September, Ron Jr. was admitted to the hospital when Simone was making history at the 2023 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. Ron suffers from avascular necrosis, so a hip replacement was needed for his left hip.

However, his right hip, too, was troublesome with extensive damage and needed surgery. Already undergoing a procedure called ‘Core Decompress’ for the right hip in April this year, his woes persisted. At the time, Ron Biles II shared, “I will not be able to walk on my leg for 6–8 weeks, on crutches, and using a wheelchair as well.”
