The 2018 World Championships became her masterpiece show. Winning six medals in the competition, she managed that feat by having kidney stones. She won gold medals in the team final, the all-around final, floor and vault, silver medal on uneven bars, and bronze on the beam.

Notably, earlier that month, she competed at the US selection camp with a broken toe. The incredible Biles completely dominated those games from start to finish. At that meet, she tied Svetlana Khorkina of Russia for the most medals won by a female gymnast with 20 medals.

Before the night of qualifying, Biles spent her time in the hospital due to kidney stones. As the stone was too big to pass, the doping regulations mentioned that she couldn’t take any prescription for the event. It is as iconic as the “Flu Game” by Michael Jordan. Suffering from a stomach infection, Jordan scored 38 points in the final against the Utah Jazz. On the other hand, Biles won six medals. That’s what GOATs do!

She talked about her situation back then and how blessed she felt to compete in those games. The determination of passion of the legendary gymnast is just outstanding.

“I think there’s a lot to be proud of, but I’m most proud of that I’m here, I made all the event finals, medaled in all of the events and I survived,” said Biles.
