‘Not Easy to Speak Up’- Suni Lee Sends an Emotional Message to Fans

After winning gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Suni Lee now wishes to take a break. At just 18, she wowed everyone with her sensational performances in Tokyo. Moreover, she left fans in awe of her moves on the reality show ‘Dancing With the Stars.’

Hence, her journey after the Olympics has been an extravagant one now and Suni now wishes to enjoy a normal life. Struggling through a tough couple of weeks, Lee posted a tweet acknowledging the support she received in recent times.

Suni Lee thanks her fans

Speaking to Pop Sugar, she made some very personal revelations about her life outside gymnastics. For the same, her fans and followers widely supported Suni.

“When I shared that I was feeling down, so many people reached out and either sent positive messages of encouragement or told me they were feeling similarly and not to feel alone. It’s OK to feel down sometimes, but what I’ve realized is that it’s important to express your feelings and ask for help,” said Lee.

Thus, she mentioned the difficulties she faced in recent days and thanked her fans on Twitter for their support.

“Just wanted to thank everyone for the amazing love, support, and kind messages over the past couple of days. it’s not easy to speak up on personal matters but in this case I knew sharing what happened would make others feel less alone,” she said.

Dancing With the Stars

After the Olympic Games, Suni took part in the reality show ‘Dancing With the Stars’ alongside her partner Sasha Farber. The duo put on wonderful performances that entertained the audience, who cheered them on right up to the semi-finals. However, Lee’s journey in the show ended as she bowed out of the competition recently.

She performed various flips and cartwheels in an adroit performance, impressing her fans with her dazzling moves. Following her exit from the competition, Suni intends on enrolling in her college to study online courses now.
