In an Instagram post from Team USA and USA Gymnastics, an exciting update came from the Team USA men’s gymnastics team. The talented men were asked about their hopes ahead of the Paris 2024 Olympics and the title they would give to this new chapter in their lives. In an epic reply, Team USA’s veteran gymnast Yul Moldauer shared that for him, this journey to the Olympics would be called “The Final Push.”

On the EssentiallySports Exclusive Fancast, host Kenny Ducey inquired about Yul Moldauer’s retirement plans, asking, “Where do you get this drive from that makes you want to continue in the sport?” The 2023 Swiss Cup winner Moldauer replied, saying, “Age to me is just a number. I think if you do the right things and you have the right training plan and the right resources, you can go as long as you want.” Moldauer also reflected on insights from his coach, who told him that when athletes cry on the podium, it’s not just about the medal but a reflection of the pain and sacrifices they endured to reach that moment.
