Simone Biles’ Brazilian Boyfriend in 2016, Showcases a Stellar Run at World Artistic Gymnastics Championship 2023

It was just the first day of the World Artistic Gymnastics Championship 2023, and it checked all the boxes for peak fascination. The men’s qualifier day did not disappoint as the incredible performances showcased by each one of the participants left everyone in awe. Some qualified gymnasts executed flawless routines, while some faced a tougher fate. Yet, every athlete synchronized with the highly energetic environment of the WAC, and put their best forward to stand a chance for the title. A particular gymnast, with a history with the queen of gymnastics, Simone Biles, made quite the run.

One of the most remarkable efforts that stole the spotlight from others for a while at the Vault was the gymnastics legend Simone Biles’ so-called Brazilian Boyfriend, Arthur Mariano. He amassed everyone’s attention with this stupendous performance. Probably, the Biles effect he has had since 2016.

The gymnastics community couldn’t control their excitement after seeing the beautiful performance by Arthur Mariano in the vaults. Mariano is a Brazilian artistic gymnast and has participated in the 2015 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships where he attained the fourth position. Notably, he nabbed the bronze medal in floor exercise at the 2016 Summer Olympics and is also the 2019 world champion in horizontal bar.

Once again in 2023, he attained the remarkable by acing the vault segment. The FIG shared an appreciation post for the Brazilian Champs’ incredible performance. Even though the Brazil team was given the fourth position while going into the final rotation of Subdivision 1, Mariano’s great display stole hearts. The post carried, “Brazil is in fourth place heading into the final rotation of Subdivision 1.”

The post further added, “The good news: They’re ending on vault, and Arthur Mariano just nailed a Shewfelt (2.5 Yurchenko) to open them up.”  This was a magnificent performance from the Brazilian team’s side and Simone Biles’s counterpart left no crumbs in his routine.

The Brazilian gymnast Arthur Mariano was apparently Simone Biles’ boyfriend back in 2016, and it was nothing but cute. However, other reports state that the two gymnasts were not really dating. Rather, they share a close-knit bond of friendship and eventually got close to each other while performing in international meets over the past few years.

Both of the athletes are loved by the gymnastics community, especially because of their cheerful and fun-loving nature even when competing in demanding events. Also, Biles and Maraino have cheered and posted adorable public posts on social media, hyping each other up for their triumphs.

From teaching Biles Portuguese to posting sweet comments under Mariano’s post, it’s hard to not highlight their sweet bond. Now, after witnessing Mariano’s performance on day 1, the enthusiasts cannot wait to see Biles standing atop the podium.
