Ever since Jonathan Owens started dating Simone Biles, they have been Instagram’s favorite celebrity couple. The duo often shares adorable pictures of themselves together, leaving fans in awe of their bond. With Biles and Owens being world-class athletes, both of them have a lot in common.

In a recent video on Twitter, Owens spoke about the influence Biles has had on his career and himself after moving to Houston. Notably, he plays safety for the Houston Texans in the NFL.

The power couple have been dating since 2020 and share an inseparable bond. Notably, Owens spoke about how Biles was comforting him while experiencing her own challenges that almost derailed her gymnastics career. Currently, Biles has taken a break from competing professionally, prioritizing her mental health. Hence, many athletes around the world lauded her move and took inspiration from her bold decision.

“I met my girlfriend here, right before Covid and everything and that’s been an amazing experience. We have had great times. Ever since I have been with her, it’s nothing like having someone to come home and talk to, comfort you, who better to understand another elite athlete who trains more than I do. It really understands what you go through from a mental aspect. The mental part of it is very tough,” said Owens.

The duo started dating back in August 2020, making their relationship official in a post on Instagram. As two world-class athletes, both of them seem perfect for each other, as they support each other, encourage each other and even understand what the other is going through.

Biles may return to Paris 2024

On a sabbatical from the sport right now, Simone spoke about how she has kept her doors open for the Paris Olympics in 2024. Winning four gold medals at Rio Olympics and bagging several World Championship medals, she is regarded as the GOAT of gymnastics. Although she is not appearing in many competitions right now, she hasn’t let go of the idea of a return.

“I’m a human being and I’ve done some courageous things outside of this sport, as well, and I’m not a quitter,” said Biles.

As they continue to build their relationship, undeniably, Owens’ support would play an important role in Biles’ return to gymnastics. However, while the future remains uncertain, the present has Biles enjoying life on the sidelines, alongside her boyfriend, Jonathan Owens.
